Alternative Education

Sometimes students struggle to fit into traditional educational settings. Alternative Education services provide another option for such students. PCS enhances the Alternative Education experience by providing on-site counseling in partnership with local school districts and intermediate units.

Our counseling program is designed to assist students who have been placed in Alternative Education for committing violations like drug possession, fighting, weapons violations, etc. The goal is to rehabilitate students, enable them to successfully complete their education, and avoid expulsion.

PCS offers the following services to Alternative Education students:

• Individual, group, and family counseling
• Emotional development
• Behavioral growth
