SCHOOL SERVICES
Behavioral health problems often surface in the school environment where structure and rules of conduct add pressure to the internal world of a child. Identifying problems and performing interventions followed by parental involvement and consent for subsequent treatment can be the start of success for a problem child in their school environment.
Pennsylvania Counseling Services, Inc. provides school services through
- Assessment services and treatment referral
- Psycho-educational groups
- Behavioral Interventions
- Contact and communication with parents
- On-site Drug and Alcohol treatment
PCS provides treatment and psycho-educational services through an Alternative Educational Program designed to treat and educate adolescents with more substantive behavioral problems in an environment separate from their local school.
